Common questions
How do I export my child's photos from Seesaw?
Open the Seesaw Family app, go to your child's journal, and look for the download or export option. Seesaw will create a zip file with all the photos, videos, and captions. If your school's Seesaw subscription supports it, you'll get the full archive. We have a step-by-step guide to help.
How much does it cost?
It's a one-time payment per journal — not a subscription. You'll see the price after we preview your photos, before you pay anything.
What Google permissions do you need?
Two things: permission to upload new photos to your library, and permission to read your album names (so we don't create a duplicate). We cannot see, download, modify, or delete your existing photos.
Does it work with iCloud Photos?
Not yet — Little Archive currently supports Google Photos only. We're evaluating iCloud support for a future update.
What if my school uses the free version of Seesaw?
Export availability depends on your school's Seesaw plan. Some free-tier schools have limited export options. If your school recently archived a class, you may have a 60-day window to download your child's journal.
